I teach the children's art program at the Mount Dora Center for the Arts in Mount Dora, FL.

I'm one of many teachers during the summer art program, but sometimes the only young people's teacher during the school year.  I love my job, and try very hard to inspire the children, teach them real skills and art concepts, all the while making cool projects and having fun.  Teaching the children is an amazingly cool opportunity to do what I love, and get paid.  Good stuff.

His thoughts about children, art, and teaching are very inspiring.
I use it as a guide to help me remember how to approach teaching the children, thinking about how kids learn and for some long distance (over the web) art teacher support.
